Eunice Josephine Rogers, 88, of Norton, died Monday, April 10, 2017 at Liberty Residence Assisted Living, in Wadsworth.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the St. Andrew the Apostle in Norton, with Father James Maloney officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Eunice was born August 18, 1928 in Canal Fulton, Ohio to Earl and Cordelia {Arntz}McCabe.
She married James Ray Rogers on October 19, 1946.
She worked for Lujan Restaurant as a waitress and then together with James they managed the Apple Valley Campground in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Eunice was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle in Norton for 13 years. She loved country music and the Cleveland Indians.
Eunice will be deeply missed by her; daughter Mary Ann Roach of Norton; daughters-in-law Gina Rogers and Judy Rogers, grandchildren Jennifer (Greg) Proffitt, Marsha (Joe) Mason, Natasha Bernero, Natalie (Zach) Johnson, Emily Rogers, James Rogers, Michael Rogers; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Elizabeth Schalmo of Eastlake, Ohio.
Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, sons James Jr. and Daniel, grandson Daniel Wayne Rogers, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
