Evelyn Carol Ball

Evelyn C. Ball, 85, of Marietta, passed away peacefully in her home on January 22, 2025.

James and Frances Kirkbride welcomed Evelyn on October 9, 1939 in Noble County. 

She married Robert “Bob” Ball Sr. on January 10, 1959. Together, they enjoyed countless hours camping and fishing. Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, Evelyn devoted her life to her family. Her title of “mom” and “grandma” extended to many around her. To know her was to love her and be loved by her.

Evelyn will be deeply missed by her children James Ball (Rose) of Marietta, Robin (Ralph) Arbaugh of West Virginia, and Robert (Fara) Ball Jr. of Lowell; grandchildren Brandon Collins (Tanner) of Utah, Stacy (John) Dobbs and Robert (Abbie) Ball III of North Carolina; great grandchildren Grant and Genevieve Dobbs; and four siblings, June, Cheryl, Cyndi, Pat. 

Though her earthly absence leaves a void, we take comfort in Evelyn’s Heavenly reunion with her parents, four siblings, and husband, Bob.
