Evelyn H. Edwards, 76, of Millersburg, died peacefully Saturday, November 16, 2013 at home surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Jerry Craycraft officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Evelyn was born January 3, 1937 in Gilbert, West Virginia to Marshall and Hattie {Hatfield} Hatfield.
Evelyn graduated from Gilbert High School and Roanoke Business College.
She married Howard C. Edwards on November 27, 1959. He died March 7, 2013. They were married for 53 years.
She was a member of Millersburg Christian Church. Evelyn worked for Ford Motor Company and then went on to be a homemaker; who could make everyone feel welcome. Evelyn traveled extensively both with Howard and her girlfriends from Brunswick. She enjoyed entertaining friends and loved ones at home.
Evelyn will be deeply missed by her children Lisa Edwards of Olmsted Falls and Holly (David) Kitko of Homerville, sister Carol Browning of Florida.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard and brother Blake.
