Evelyn I. Hostettler, 93, of Wooster previously of Shreve, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Smithville Western Care Center, in Wooster.
Friends may call Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Lawson officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Evelyn was born January 26, 1919 in Wooster, OH to John W. and Ella Laura {Fath} Franks.
She married Guy on July 3, 1938. He died on August 14, 2008 after 70 years of marriage.
She was a member of United Methodist of Shreve Church. Evelyn was a member of the Lions Club in Shreve.
Evelyn will be deeply missed by children Ronald Hostettler of Talbotton, Georgia and Shirley Cox of Eastview, Kentucky.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Guy, brothers John, William, Rollo, Lewis, Charles, Raymond and Clyde, Sisters Ruth Blosser, Mabel Waldsmith, Marie Hostettler and Nellie Chizmadia.
