Jeane Thomas

F Jeane Thomas, 95, of Wooster, died July 13, 2024 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, in Wooster with her family by her side.

Jeane was born June 20, 1929 in Akron, Ohio to Lloyd and Muriel {Wilburn} Palm.

She married Lowell Thomas on December 8, 1950. 

Jeane was a warehouse manager at Big Wheel for many years. She was a 30 year TOPS member. Jeane enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and eating out with friends. She won yard of the month twice at Melrose Village. Jeane loved spending time with her family and grandkids, and her cat Callie.

Jeane will be deeply missed by her daughters Kay (Dan) Johnson and Lisa (Bill) Troyer; daughter in law Cheri Thomas; grandchildren Jennifer Rusterholz, Melissa Booker, Michael Troyer, Ashley (Austin) Konetski, Nathan (Camille) Mallett, Jamie Horsky, and Scott (Alisha) Mairs; great-grandchildren Aiden and Zoey Rusterholz, Kalani and Jazden Booker, William, Audrey and Evalyn Troyer, Renner Konetski, Austin, Chandler, Cadance Horsky, Lincoln Mallett and Lucas Mairs.

Jeane was preceded in death by her husband Lowell, son Eric Thomas, brother Richard and sister Elaine.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. A private graveside service will be held at the cemetery.
