Faye Leckrone

Faye Leckrone, 82, of Wooster, died Friday, March 1, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Faye was born January 2, 1942 in Holmesville, Ohio to Forrest and Esther {Crawford} Parsons.

She married William Franklin Leckrone on June 6, 1951. He died September 29, 2004. 

Faye worked for the Daily Record before retiring. She liked to read, go for walks, and listening to country music.

Faye will be deeply missed by her children Nancy Rex of Wooster and Michael Leckrone of Massillon; grandchildren Elizabeth (Kathy) Spears, Jennifer (Nate) Cowart, Taylor and Cassandra Leckrone. She was the last living of 9 siblings.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 53 years.

As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
