Flora E. Kurtz, 81, of Fredericktown, died Saturday March 7, 2015 at Kobacker Hospice, in Columbus.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Celebration of Life services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Ermon French officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Flora was born August 28, 1933 in McHenry, KY to Odie and Etta {Smith} Austin.
She married Willard Kurtz in August of 1953.
She was a member of Church of God in Fredericktown. She loved tending to her flowers and to sing gospel music.
Flora will be deeply missed by her children Linda (David) Bishop of Fredericktown, Odie (Holly) Kurtz of Claremont, NC, Willard Joseph Kurtz of Wooster; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers Leroy Austin of Wooster, Wendell (Brenda) Austin of NC; sister Judy (John) Studer of Rittman.
Flora was preceded in death by her husband Willard (Bill), brothers Oscar, James, William Gerald, Truman.
