Francis Antonio Dellafave Jr., 80, of Wooster, died Tuesday, April 4th, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Francis was born May 9th, 1942 in Wooster, Ohio to Francis Antonio Sr. and Mary Concelia {Tomasseti} Dellafave.
He graduated from Wooster Highschool is 1960. Francis joined the US Army in 1962 and served his time in Fort Knox.
He married Elizabeth Chapman on June 17, 1966.
Francis worked for Gertsenslager Co. and Bauer Ladder, he then worked for Frito Lay before retiring after 32 years. He loved spending time reading the Bible and praying. Francis loved his dogs Muncho and Ellie and cat Tinkerbell.
Francis will be deeply missed by his wife; children Brian Dennis Dellafave, Diana Elizabeth (Tim) Johnson both of Wooster; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren Landon, Candon, Gracen Thomas, and Sylvia Rose; siblings Cynthia Irene (John Paul) Parker of Wooster, Joseph Anthony (Shirley) Dellafave of Wooster, and Anastasia Mary Julia Franks of Orrville; and several nieces and nephews.
Francis was preceded in death by his son Thomas Francis I died February 23, 2017 he was the oldest grandson on both sides, he was named after both grandparents and his father.
Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Decker officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
