Francis Kovacs

Francis "Frank" P. Kovacs, 79, of Wooster, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice.

Francis was born October 30, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio to Andrew and Theresa {Mihalko} Kovacs.

He married Ruth Sampsell on June 18, 1993.  She survives.

Francis worked for the Central States Teamsters for 29 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed singing in barbershop quartets.

Francis will be deeply missed by his wife; children Kathleen Munninghoff, Frank (Laura) Kovacs, Michael (Theresa) Kovacs and Amy Kovacs; step-children Anna (Eugene) Greenwood and Rebecca Rister; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Paul (Anna) Kovacs; sisters Cecelia Lucik and Theresa (Rich) Molnar.

Francis was preceded in death by his parents and brother Andrew.
