Frank J. Matulevicus, 86, of Wadsworth, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Hospice In-patient Center in Medina. He was born on July 6, 1926 in Parma to William J. and Brigita Mary (Ziburis) Matulevicus.
Frank was a US Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theatre in the Philippines. He married Evelyn F. West on June 30, 1956. He was employed as mechanic and service manager for several auto dealers and Medina Supply. He retired from Medina City Schools transportation maintenance department. He was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and working on his house and cars.
Frank will be deeply missed by his wife, Evelyn, son, Mark (Debby) Matulevicus, daughters, Carol (David) Bosonetta, Beth (Don) Phillips, Judy Matulevicus, grandchildren, Kelley Matulevicus, Christine (Nick) Ferreri, David (Billie) Bosonetta, Jr., Gregory Bosonetta, Nick and Kaitlyn Phillips, Christian, Cody and Collin Goad, and four great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his mother, father, three brothers and one sister.
Private funeral services were held Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Seville with Pastor Charles Whitlock officiating.
