Fred Wellspring

Fred Wellspring, 84, of Fleming, OH, went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born April 26, 1937 in Marietta, OH to Walter and Martha Ellison Wellspring.

Fred was retired from the Washington County Highway Dept. He was a longtime member of the Marietta Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Ullman Wellspring, whom he married on October 17, 1959; two sons: Rick (Kim) Wellspring of Fleming and Kevin (Tammy) Wellspring of Vincent; seven grandchildren: Adam Wellspring (Suzanne) of Sante Fe, NM, Brittany Wellspring (Chad) of Lancaster, David Wellspring (Audrianna) of Beverly, Cassie Wellspring of Marietta, Ryan (Angie) Lambert, Derek (Alisha) Lambert and Danielle Lambert; 9 great-grandchildren: Savannah, Ada and Lee Wellspring, Oliver Schantz, Deacon, Ella, Maverik, Bryton and Rowan Lambert; sisters: Shirley Davis of Reno and Pamela Creech of Lexington, KY; brother Gary Wellspring of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Wellspring and sister Lorena Feathers.

There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Roberts Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
