Fredrick Gorgas

Fredrick Alvin Gorgas, 64, of Ashland, died Saturday, February 23, 2019 at The Laurels of New London.

Fred was born March 21, 1954 in Ashland to Arthur and Ruby {Spencer} Gorgas.

In his glory days Fred was a center on the Ashland High School basketball team and he was an avid basketball fan all his life.

He retired from Garbers Paper Company.

Fred will be deeply missed by his sisters Deborah (Michael) Fite of Ashland and Myreda (Richard) Johnson of Kettering; nephews Barry Jackenheimer of Mansfield and Tim Buffmyer of Minnesota; nieces Kelly (Tim) Gray of Bailey Lakes and Sheryl Buffmyer of Ashland.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and sister Jeannie Gorgas.
