Garey Crabtree

Garey "Ronnie" Crabtree, 77, of Wooster, died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home—Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held.
Garey was born August 26, 1937 in Fort Gay, West Virginia to Goebel and Georgia Crabtree.
Garey served in the United States Air Force.
He married Mary "Fran" {Nimmons} on June 19, 1965. She survives.
Garey worked for Miller Pipeline as a heavy equipment operator and foreman. He was a member of Assembly of God, IUOE and the Wooster American Legion. Garey enjoyed fishing, hunting for mushrooms and making people laugh. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who loved him very much.
Garey will be deeply missed by his wife, Fran, of 50 years; children Steve Crabtree, Carolyn (Mark) Shriver and Jason Crabtree; step-daughters Sherry (Randy) White, Mike (Greg) Hill and Karen White; grandchildren Richard, Jac, Ben, Logan, Hannah, Charlie and Luke; sisters Glenda Higgins and Patty (Brady) Pursley.
Garey was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Charles and Damon Crabtree.
