Gayle E. Burns, 66, of Ashland, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her residence following a battle with cancer.
Gayle was born February 4, 1949 in Canton, Ohio to Robert C. and Olive M. "Babe" {Tohey} Ream.
She graduated from Ashland High School, class of 1967.
She married William R. Burns on February 14, 1978. He passed away on January19, 2014.
She was previously employed at National Latex, Kingston and most recently Companions of Ashland.
Gayle will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews Amy Rhoades, Edward Sarkel, Robert Saylor, Jeff Ream, Gail Walter, and Liz Ream.
Gayle was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years; brother Jeffrey L. Ream; and sisters Carol A. Sarkel and Claudia A. Rachel.
Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr. Ashland, OH 44805.
