George William Davis, 72, of Medina, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at his residence.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Tony Sejba officiating. A private entombment will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 606 E. Washington St., Medina, OH 44256.
George was born May 24, 1944 in Wadsworth to Robert and Edna {Lozier} Davis.
He married Shirley A. Temple on May 22, 2004.
George retired from L.L. Tank Lines in Barberton. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. George enjoyed gardening, welding and carpentry.
George will be deeply missed by his wife Shirley; children Cynthia (J.R.) Sawyer and Eric Davis; step-children Christopher Grucza and Monica Coleman; grandchildren Kimberly and Meredith Sawyer; step-grandchildren Savannah and Russell Coleman; step-grandchildren Savannah and Russell Coleman.
George was preceded in death by his parents.
