George Richard Fouse

George Richard Fouse Jr, 80, of Howard, OH, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Country Club Rehabilitation Center, in Mount Vernon, OH. George was born April 30th, 1944, in Columbus, OH to George Richard and Ruth Ellen (Lehman) Fouse, Sr. He married Virginia (Ginny) on March 31, 2014.  George was a dedicated employee and worked at keeping things in order, clean, and ready to go for the many students and attendees at Grace Brethren Church and schools. He was a member of the Baptist Temple near Apple Valley. He enjoyed family, fishing, camping, a hot cup of coffee, and his Harley. 

George will be remembered and missed by his wife; children Rhonda, David (Robin), Rebecca (Christian), Doug, Robert (Amy), Fred (Crystal), (Alvin), Amber (Jonathan); and grandchildren April, Ashley, Wesley, Audrey, Bailey, Riley, Victoria, Christian, Eben, Calum, Caitlynn, Liam, Fiona, Dustin, Megan, Jessica, Cheyenne, Alexander, Blain, Logan, Lydia, Caleb, Payten, Jayden, Mason, Johnathan, Ariona, and Alaina; as well as eleven great-grandchildren.  George was preceded in death by his parents and Melanie, his step daughter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Lehman officiating. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, Ginny has asked that donations be given in George’s honor to Gentiva Hospice and mailed to 112 Harcourt Road, Mt. Vernon, OH 43050.
