George Sine

George M. Sine, 88, of Wooster, died Friday, June 21, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice.

Friends may call Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Bishop Michael Allen Sine officiating from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

George was born May 16, 1931 in West Mansfield to William Newton and Hazel Leah {Wones} Sine.

He attended The Ohio State University and Wittenburg University.

He married Dorothy E. Lockhart on May 8, 1970.

George retired from International Mill Service and was currently working at Lowe’s.  He enjoyed traveling, golfing, playing solitaire, and gardening. Later on in life, George enjoyed spending time tending to his home. Although he was in a different state, he loved hearing about his children and grandchildren.

George will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years; children Michael Allen (Donna) Sine of Salt Lake City, Utah and Lisa Kay Sine of Roy, Utah; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers William and Richard Sine.
