Georgia Geraldee Dotson, 88, of Wooster, died October 24, 2013 at Regency Hospital in Barberton.
Services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Robbie Martin officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Georgia was born June 6, 1925 in Russell County, Virginia to Cummins and Rhoda {Baker} Meade.
She married Emmett Dotson on December 4, 1943, who died previously. She retired from Regal Ware after 29 years of service. She then worked for the College of Wooster for 18 years. She was called 'Momma' by many of the students, faculty and co-workers. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.
Georgia will be deeply missed by daughters Georgia (Morman) Adkins of Wooster and Linda Phillips of Jeromesville, daughter-in-law Marjorie Dotson of Looneyville, WV; grandchildren Roy (Sandra) Hunter, Angela Hunter, Sonja Dotson, and Jason Adkins; 5 great-grandchildren; sister Hazel Whitt of Sparta, OH, several nieces and nephews.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, son Thomas Dotson; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
