Gerald "Pappy" Woods

Gerald Paul Woods, 88, of Wooster, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Wooster Community Hospital.

Gerald was born July 22, 1932, in Blachleyville to Ernest and Matilda {Tschantz} Woods.

He graduated from Shreve High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He married Carolyn Huff on February 27,1955.  She died on January 13, 1984.

He was a real estate agent for many years, retiring from Real Estate Showcase.  Gerald was a member of the Church of the Saviour.  He was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed attending auctions and selling his winnings at his garage sales.

Gerald will be deeply missed by his special lady Del Pfalzgraf, children Michael (Treesh) Woods of Glenmont and Sharon (Bill) Morris of Loudonville; grandchildren Max (Jessica) Woods, Tauni (Jeff) Robbins, Michael and Alex Herron, Sami Morris, Jordan and Jonathan Curtis; great-grandchildren Carmen, Landon, and Terra; brothers Ernest “Will” Woods Jr. of Wooster; sisters Kay McKee of Shreve and Shirley Michalak of Tiffin.

Gerald was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn, infant daughter Deborah Lynn Woods and several brothers and sisters.
