Glen E. Morrison, 88, of Seville, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Glen was born September 23, 1927 in Wadsworth to Joseph and Pearl {Monbarren} Morrison.
He married Lois A. (Bird) on May 24, 1947.
Glen worked a variety of jobs. He worked at Barefoot Sole at a young age. Glen was a plasterer with his father and brothers at Morrison Brothers, before becoming self employed as a dairy farmer. He enjoyed square dancing with his wife, horse shows and rodeos, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids. Glen was a member of the Silver Star Riders and longtime AQHA member, as well as a Farm Bureau member.
Glen will be deeply missed by his wife Lois; children Vicki {Bruce} Theobald of Port Clinton, Sandy Morrison of Seville, Chris {Chip} Boham of Marengo, Kent {Elaine} Morrison of Butler, Tammy {Rick} Sutton of Seville, Anita {Matt} Honigman of Seville; grandchildren Jenny, Marie, Joe, Corrie, Alicia, Cheyenne, Drake, Heath; great-grandchildren Melvin, Morgan, Mica, Dillon, Brooke, Ava, Mylah, Weston, Hugh; sisters Roberta and Nora.
Glen was preceded in death by his stillborn son, infant son Rodney, son Gary, parents, brothers Joe "Jupe", John, Ronald, and Richard, infant sister, twin sisters Eleanor and Eloise, and Miriam.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 1 to 2 p.m.at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Patrick Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina County 5075 Windfall Rd. Medina, OH 44256. The family would like to thank hospice for their loving kindness and care.
