Glen Swartzentruber, 75, of Wooster, died Friday, August 11 at his residence.
Friends may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Jacob Lawson officiating. Glen was born September 16, 1941 in Millersburg, Ohio to Enos and Nellie {Henney} Swartzentruber.
He was a graduate of Millersburg High School in 1959. Glen never missed a day of school or was tardy from 1st grade until graduation.
He married Sharon Walker on January 15, 1965.
He retired from Quality Castings, Orrville, in 2006. Glen always put his family first. He loved gardening, collecting coins, playing softball, card games, and watching sports. His favorite holiday was Christmas.
Glen will be deeply missed by his wife Sharon Swartzentruber; children John (Tricia) Swartzentruber, Robert (Angela) Swartzentruber, and Sally Swartzentruber; grandchildren Christopher (Marissa), Nathan, Hanna, Sarah, and Sharlet; and one great-grandchild on the way; brothers Ervin, Owen (Clara), and Larry (Barb) Swartzentruber; sisters Clare (Abe) Raber, Marie Garber, Lucille (Abe) Miller, and Betty (Marion) Stutzman.
