Glenn Earnest Dickinson, 82, of Ashland, died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Glenn was born January 20, 1932 in Burbank, Ohio to Paul Eugene and Florence Jeanette {Hubler} Dickinson.
He was in the United States Army where he served in the Korean War.
He married Norma Jean {Thompson} on December 31, 1971. She died on January 26, 2007.
Glenn worked for Preston Trucking as a truck driver for years. He was a member of American Legion Post 88.
Glenn will be deeply missed by children Glenn (Mary) Dickinson of Lawrenceburg, IN, Kim (Steve) Sloan of Ashland, Pam (Jim) Provoznik of Perrysville, Jodi Dickinson of Savannah, Chad (Judi) Dickinson of Ashland, Gregg Thompson of Galion and Melodie (Bobby) Boals of Ashland; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Jim (Shirley) Dickinson of Ashland; sister Pauline (Don) Swaisgood of Ashland
Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Norma, of 35 years.
Friends may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Chet Woodward officiating.
