Glenna Dawson

Glenna Eileen Dawson, 69, of Wooster, died Monday, August 5, 2019 at LifeCare Hospice.

Friends may call Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Services will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Glenna was born September 22, 1949 in Wooster to Oland G. and Rosa M. {Hatfield} Younker.

Glenna retired from the USPS as a mail carrier, she had the rural Big Prairie route for over 25 years. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge #811 and Moose Lodge #1115. Glenna enjoyed her pogo games, scratch off lottery tickets, bingo, and watching horse races. She was known by many as kind, selfless and strong.

Glenna will be deeply missed by her daughters Kimberly Barnes of Wooster and Stephanie (Kristopher) McCrone of Lakewood; step-daughter Laura (Pete) Grebus of Cleveland Heights; grandchildren Kara (Robert Beas) Barnes, Abigail Barnes, Michael and Lucas Grucella; step-grandchildren Colin, Kristopher, Anna, and Cora McCrone, Jamie (Brandon) Haumesser; sister Rosemary Bruce of Wooster.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, step-father George Kundracik, grandson Liam McCrone, and brother-in-law Everett Bruce.
