Grace Simpson

Grace M. Simpson, 95, of Flower Mound, TX, died Monday, February 22, 2021 at Cross Timbers Rehabilitation and Care Center, in Flower Mound, TX.

Grace was born March 13, 1925 in Burbank, Ohio to Floyd and Marie {Vansickle} Croft.

She married Orrin Maurice Simpson on April 17, 1943. He died December 1, 2004.

Grace worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Ryan in Rittman. She was a loving wife and mother, devoting much of her time to her family and fostering many children through the years.  She was a member of the Creekwood Christian Church, Flower Mound. Grace and her husband were very active in the senior center where she taught sewing, spending time in her garden, and were active in their church in Florida where they lived after retirement.

Grace will be deeply missed by her children Denny (Sharon) Simpson of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren Harrold Todd (Vicky) Simpson, Scott (Jason) Simpson, Alecia Simpson, Brian (Lauren) Simpson; great-grandchildren Michael (Krystle) Simpson, Anna Simpson; great-great-granddaughter McKenzie, Olivianna Grace; several nieces and nephews.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, son Harrold Leonard; brother Bill Croft and sister Delores Croft.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 am at the Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville with Pastor Kevin Fath officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
