Gregory Merrow Jr.

Gregory “Grizz” A. Merrow Jr., 42, of Marietta, died February 12, 2020 at his home.

Greg was born May 17, 1977 in Marietta, Ohio to Gregory A. and Cathy Jo Merrow.

He graduated from Marietta High School in 1995. Greg was a veteran of the United States Army. After leaving the service, Greg received his Associate’s Degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.

He enjoyed music, playing guitar, hunting, fishing and being on the river.

Greg will be deeply missed by his parents Greg (Diana) Merrow Sr., Cathy (Chris) Barth; stepsister Kristy (Shawn) Skillman of Columbus, OH; stepbrother Heath Ivey of Columbus; girlfriend Liz Bailey and her son Aden; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as his many friends.

Friends may call Monday, February 17th from 12 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta.  Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home with Minister Lloyd Westbrook officiating.  Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park, where military rites will be held.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
