Gwendolyn Kay Bascom

Gwendolyn Kay Bascom, 76, of Wooster, died March 11, 2025 at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.

Gwendolyn was born December 5, 1948 in Indiana, PA to Richard H. and Phyllis O. {Devers} Jenkins. She graduated from Wooster High School.

Gwendolyn worked for Bell & Howell for almost 30 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of West Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and crafting.

Gwendolyn will be deeply missed by her son John (Staci) Carnahan of Wooster; 4 grandchildren; brothers John (Tonya) Stone, Donnie (Teresa) Stone, Ronnie (Missy) Stone, Barb (Dick) James, and Sandra Fath all of Wooster, and Doris (Brian) Johnson of Shreve.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Richard Jenkins.
