Harry E. Tucker, 93, of Ashland, died November 25, 2015 at Samaritan Regional Hospital.
Harry was born December 20, 1921 in Clear Creek, Ohio to Clyde F. and Estella {Turner} Tucker.
Harry served in the United States Army during World War II in Europe.
He married Donna L. {Shirkey} on October 21, 1997.
Harry retired from Yellow Freight as a truck driver after 33 years, where he had 2.5 million miles without an accident. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Harry enjoyed woodwork, reading, and crafts. He loved to spend time with his family.
Harry will be deeply missed by his wife Donna of 18 years; children William E. (Brenda) Tucker, Kathy (Lanny) Black, Michael (Cathy) Kosciuczyk and Sherry (Kenny) Hartman; grandchildren Emily, Katelyn, Jennifer, Sandra, Christina and Clayton; great-grandchildren Adam, Michael, Duane, Jenna and Alexis.
Harry was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia {Forbes}, brother Paul Tucker and sisters Frances Aber and Lucille Smurthwaite.
Funeral services will be Monday at 12 p.m. at Robert Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland with Pastor John Bouquet officiating. Friends may prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Adario Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church at 575 US-250, Savannah, OH 44874 or Disabled Veterans of America at 216 S C., Medina, OH 44256.
