Hazel Marie (Nussbaum) Blough, 95, of Orrville, died October 25, 2015 at Glendora Care Center, after a period of declining health.
Friends may call Wednesday, October 28, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Vernon Myers officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kidron Volunteer Fire Department, 4772 Kidron Rd. Kidron, OH 44636.
Hazel was born June 24, 1920 on a homestead on the Colorado prairie to Jacob and Susie {Keller} Stauffer.
She married Charles Blough on April 7, 1974.
She retired from the Kidron Town and Country Store in 1984 where she worked as a dry goods clerk. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Orrville but not in recent years due to declining health. She liked gardening and being outdoors.
Hazel will be deeply missed by her husband of 41 years; children Sue (Howard) Snavely of Marshallville, Barbara (Ev) Hofstetter of Apple Creek, and Craig (Carol) Blough of Seminole, Fl; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Mark and Paul (Isabel) Stauffer of CA; sister Beulah (Mahlon) Zuercher of Orrville.
Hazel was preceded in death by her first husband Laverne Nussbaum, her parents and 8 brothers and sisters.
