Hazel M. Speicher

Hazel Marie Speicher, 82, of Orrville, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 17, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side.

Hazel was born March 15, 1940, in Ralphton, PA to Harry Sr. and Althea {Heining} Conn.

She married Harry Calvin Speicher Jr. on June 14, 1958. He passed away in 2009. 

Hazel worked for Hudson Oxygen for many years making oxygen masks. Over the years, Hazel was instrumental in the success of the family popcorn business. She was a member of the Rittman Grace Brethren Church where she taught children’s Sunday School and was active in WMC. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, and bowling.

Hazel will be deeply missed by her sons Wes (Joyce) of Wooster and David (Carrie) of Orrville, daughter-in-law Jacci Speicher of Rittman; grandchildren Eric (Katie), Keri, Calvin, and Ryan Speicher, Aaron and Melissa Lundquist, and Morgan Davis; four great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Emmie Conn of Doylestown.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry, son Bill, brothers Homer (Rosie) and Harry Conn Jr.

Friends may call Monday, November 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Bud Olszewski officiating.  Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
