Helen Hartman

Helen E. Hartman, 79, of Wadsworth, died Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Altercare of Wadsworth.

Helen was born September 3, 1940 in Wadsworth, Ohio to Joseph and Effie {Cox} Green.

She married John Henry Hartman on September 3, 1959. He died January 18, 2013.

She worked for the Rittman Schools and retired from the Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Zwingli Church of Christ. Helen loved reading, playing games and watching the Hallmark channel.

Helen will be deeply missed by her sons Robert (Lisa) and Dan (Susan) Hartman both of Rittman; daughter Pam Hartman of Rittman; grandchildren Bethany (Steve James) Hartman and Timothy Hartman; brother Carl Green of Wadsworth.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, sisters Florence and Leona, brother Jim.

Friends may call Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. A private family service will be held. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
