Helen Kamp, 86, of Ashland, passed away Thursday November 28, 2013 at Lutheran Village where she had made her home for the past four years.
Helen was born February 16, 1927 in Jeromesville, Ohio to Herbert and Maude {nee Budd} Flickinger.
She married Frederick (Fritz) Kamp on May 4, 1951.
She retired from the Eagle Rubber Company after 30 + years. She enjoyed fishing, camping, working in her flower garden and especially mowing her lawn.
Helen is survived by her children Larry (Beatrice) Kamp of Ashland and Jane (Kenneth) Ewing of Wooster, along with 4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and her brother Raymond Flickinger of Loudonville.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, 4 sisters, 2 brothers and 2 half-sisters.
There will be a graveside service held Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11 am at Ashland County Memorial Park with calling hours an hour prior to the service. Services will be conducted by Pastor Sanford Mitchell. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio in lieu of flowers.
