Helen Marie Meininger

Helen Marie Meininger, 73, of Mansfield, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Mansfield Hospital.

Helen was born September 23, 1948, in Apple Grove, WV to Charles and Iva {Waugh} Hughes.

She married James Bump, he died March 5, 2001. She then married Leslie Meininger on October 10, 1985. He survives.

Helen worked for Olive Garden in West Virginia then locally for Dollar General. She enjoyed Word Search puzzles, sewing pillowcases and studying the Bible.

Helen will be deeply missed by her husband, Leslie; children James Bump of San Antoni, Charles Bump of Columbus, Frances Skrumbellos of Bellevue, and Christopher of Mansfield; grandchildren Sean, Justin, Ryan, Vanessa, and Carissa Skrumbellos, Heather, Alyssa, Erica, Makenzie, Christopher J., and Rylie Bump; great-grandchildren Kaidence, Roman, Eva, Luke, Laura, Trinity, and Dante; sisters Della O’Quin of Delaware, OH.

Helen was preceded in death by her first husband, James and son Richard Bump, several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 am at Ashland County Memorial Park with Pastor Chester Woodward. Roberts Funeral Home – Ashland Chapel is assisting with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
