Henry Baker, 83, of Norton, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. He was born June 16, 1929 in McMinn County TN.. He married Mary Lou Robinson on April 4, 1953.
Henry retired from Huszar Construction in December 1991. His passion was working as an operating engineer and even after retirement, he enjoyed working on equipment. Henry was a member of Labors Union #894 and Operating Engineers Union #18. He also loved spending time with his family.
Henry will be deeply missed by his wife Mary Lou, daughter Maggie Baker of Norton, brothers Homer (Shirley), Felix and RC (Gina) Baker all of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Baker.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Pastor Mike Decker officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com.
