Homer A. Lee, 77, of Marietta, died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Homer was born August 27, 1938 in Marietta to Homer and Ora Lee.
He attended Marietta High School before joining the United States Army where he was a paratrooper and a sharp shooter
He married Patricia on November 5, 1960.
Homer will be deeply missed by his sons James Lee and Homer (Amy) Lee; daughters Julia Freeland (Keith) and Janice (Frank) Cobb; grandchildren Joey, Shane, Samantha, Jacob, Nathan and Ryan; brother-in-law Dick Baker.
Homer was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Lee in 2006, brothers Walter Lee and John Lee; sister Alice Baker.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 15 at 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. The family will receive friends from 12 until the time of the service. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
