Howard Isaac Prager, 86, of Wooster, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at Smithville-Western Care Center.
Services will be Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Howard was born August 21, 1930 in Wooster to Howard M. and Lucille {Pershell} Prager.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, the USMC, and the Army during WWII and the Korean War. Howard enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as auctions, golf, and woodworking.
Howard will be deeply missed by his children Howard M. "Buck" Prager, Fred Prager, Bonnie Prager, Kristine Moore, Myrna (Todd) Farriss, Mathew Moore, Beverly Dixon, David (Cheryl) Moore, and Donald Moore; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Howard was preceded in death by his lifelong companion of 35 years, Ruth Moore, his son Charles "Chuck" Prager, his brother Dave Prager and sister Maxine Prager.
