Dad passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior, in the woods of his farm that he loved and worked for the past 34 years. Howard was a dairy/beef farmer and master woodworker that built houses for over fifteen years. A Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, Brother, and Friend, Howard is missed deeply by many.
Shortly after graduating from Cloverleaf High School in 1963 as President of the FFA and voted most likely to succeed, Howard married his High School sweetheart, Shirley. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on August 4, 2021. Dad succeeded in creating a legacy of family and service to the Lord. Six children, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren mourn the loss of more time with him. The family finds peace knowing that when Christ called him home, he let out a shout of acclamation, and joy filled his heart.
Howard was born March 21, 1945 in Medina, Ohio to Kenneth V. and Ruth (Overholt) Ream. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Shirley; children Michele (Johnny) Workman, Kari Ream, Russ (Michelle) Ream, Rebecca (Doug) Eller, Jessica (Cedric) Beckles, and Clay (Bethany) Ream; grandchildren Brent (Amanda) Workman, Joey (Jamie) Workman, J.D.
