Irma Braley, 76, of Wooster, died Monday, August 21, 2017 at her home, in Wooster.
Friends may call Thursday, August 24, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA at Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20077-7127.
Irma was born January 16, 1941 in Laredo, Texas to Pedro and Josephina {Charo} Garcia.
She graduated from high school in Laredo, Texas. She was in the U.S.O., in Taiwan.
She married Elbert G Burns Jr. in 1960, and she married Noel E. Braley in 1971.
She worked at Apple Creek State Institute, and later at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton, and retired from Seaman Corporation in Wooster.
Irma will be deeply missed by her children Brenda G (William Jr.) Phelps, Phyllis L (Joe) Weinsheimer, and David S. Braley; grandchildren Dylan, Lance, Shawn, TJ, and Kenny; brothers Pedro (Sylvia) Garcia, Alberto (Sylvia) Garcia, and Jose Garcia.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Noel.
