Irma Stewart

Irma Jean Stewart, 89, of Marietta, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living in Newark.

Irma was born February 9, 1929 in Cadiz, Ohio to Glen and Beulah Wells.

She married Robert Stewart on June 19, 1949.

Irma was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Marietta.

Irma will be deeply missed by her daughter Patricia (Jim) Birney of Pataskala, OH; grandchildren Shannon Sheley and Sarah (Jameison) Ables; great-grandchildren Cassandra Sheley, Joanne Sheley and Cooper Ables; brother Carl Wells of Grove City, OH; sisters Maxine (Jack) Smittle of Ada, OH and Rebecca (Frank) Martino of St. Clairsville, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Irma was preceded in death by her husband Robert Stewart, her parents, and brothers Charles Wells and Ross Wells.

Friends may call Thursday, March 22 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta.  Funeral services will follow at 2 with Rev.
