Jackie Buffington

Jackie D. Buffington Sr., 77, formerly of Marietta, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020 in Winter Haven, Florida.

Jackie was born October 31, 1942 in Sylvester, West Virginia to Theodore and Birtha Mae Buffington.

He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army.

Jackie retired from General Motors. He was a member of the Church of God. Jackie enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Jackie will be deeply missed by his children Karen Smith and Ted (Bridget) Buffington; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Jerry Buffington;  sisters Wanda Buffington, Dorothy Chapman and Rena Lane.

In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Buffington Jr.; brothers Theodore Buffington Jr. and Denny Buffington; sisters Loretta Hapney and Sue Walker.
