Jackie Lynn Winland

Jackie Lynn “J-Lo” Winland, 63, formerly of Marietta, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Jackie was born August 9, 1960 in Zanesville, Ohio to Thomas and Izetta {Veyon} White.

She was a 1978 graduate of Morgan High School. 

Jackie attended Beckett United Methodist Church in Cambridge.  Over the years, she was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges. She enjoyed traveling with her fiancé Randy Mercer, especially to Nashville. The true love of her life was her family. She also enjoyed playing GOLF.

Jackie will be deeply missed by her fiancé Randy Mercer; her daughters Nikki (John) Rake, Heather Schmidt, Kali Mercer and Sarah Pyers; grandchildren Tanner (Grace) Rake, Katlyn Rake, Taylor (Nathan) Lewis, Andrew (Kylee Prather) Schmidt, Noah Schmidt, Molly Pyers and Penelope Pyers; great grandchildren Coy and Crew Rake, Nyle Rake and Winston Rake-Cressey, Macie Lewis and two more on the way; sister Carolyn Sue (Jerry) Burns; brother Thomas “Tim” (Sharon) White; mother-in-law Karen Mercer; aunt Sharon (Ken) West; and several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews; and her chosen sister Kim Vrooman.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sister Ann Elizabeth White.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20^th at 3 PM at Marietta First Church of the Nazarene, 100 Mill Creek Road, Marietta, OH 45750, with Pastor Kevin D’Ettorre officiating.
