Jacob Carmony

Jacob Wesley Carmony, 12, of Wooster, died Monday, March 4, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He beat many odds during his twelve years, he was a fighter and a miracle to everyone who knew him.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Grace Church.  Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor David Lawson officiating.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to Akron Children’s Hospital at One Perkins Square, Akron, Ohio 44308.

Jacob was born September 28, 2006 in Akron to Clinton and Traci {Thompson} Carmony.

He was a member of Grace Church.  Jacob was home schooled through Triway schools where he was a sixth grader.

In addition to his parents, other survivors include paternal grandfather K. Wesley Carmony of Wooster, paternal grandmother Patti Carmony of Shreve, maternal grandparents Tom (Valerie) Thompson of Wooster, paternal great-grandmother Maxine Shelley of Wooster, maternal great-grandmother Janet Maibach of Sterling, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jacob was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents Harold and Marilyn Hoffer, paternal great-grandfather W.J. Carmony, maternal great-grandparents Dick and Jean Thompson, maternal great-grandfather Arthur Maibach, cousin Dylan Smith.
