Jacqueline Knight

Jacqueline Knight, 53, of Marietta, died Friday, September 6, 2019 at her home.

She was born August 14, 1966 in Marietta, Ohio to Dale and Caroline  Knight.

She was a 1985 graduate of Warren High School.

She worked at Heartland as a nurse aide for many years, where taking care of people was her passion. She attended Soul’s Harbor Baptist Church in Marietta. Jacqueline loved reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, country drives and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jacqueline was a rock to her family and will be missed by her children Jordan Walker, Jayla (Brent) Robinson and Jacob Walker; she was the best Nana and Gammy to her grandchildren who adored her: Aubree, Hadley, Brecken and Briggs; mother Caroline Knight; siblings Robert (Kim) Knight, Jesse (Brenda) Knight, Tammy Wallace and Jason Knight. She was a nurturer at heart and to know her is to love her. She had many friends including her best friend Judy.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her father Dale Knight, her grandparents Anna Mae and Daniel Henry, Audrey Ludwig and Troy Knight, aunts Mary Binegar and Trish Knight.

Friends may call Friday, September 13th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. A short prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.  Following the viewing, Soul’s Harbor Baptist Church will have food and refreshments in their basement at 115 Caywood Rd., Marietta, OH 45750. There will also be a memorial service on Sunday the 15th at 3 PM at the Elizabeth Sugden Broughton Community Building, 639 State Route 821, Marietta, OH 45750
