James A. Butler, 79, of Wooster, died March 28, 2018 at Presbyterian Hospital, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. The funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Nick Cleveland officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Jim was born May 9, 1938 in Wooster, Ohio to William and Nellie {Daye} Butler.
He was previously married to Sandra {Weaver} Butler.
Jim worked as a car salesman for 37 years for Chevrolet. He was a member of Grace Church. He was a member of the Wooster Elks Lodge, enjoyed going to watch basketball at the College of Wooster and was a member of the Rebounders.
Jim will be deeply missed by his children Brad Butler of TN, Cheryl (Jim) Kelbly of North Lawrence; grandchildren Ian and Ryan Kelbly; great-grandchildren Gunner Kelbly and Kennedy Smith; sister Shirley Rummel Easterling; and numerous nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sister.
