James Casto

James L. Casto, 79, of Marietta passed away suddenly at his home February 19, 2020.

He was born July 24, 1940, the son of the late William Otis and Dorothy Casto Kendall.

Jim retired from Stone Container and was currently working at Stevens Oil and Gas. He was a longtime member of the Marietta Moose Lodge.

Jim is survived by his fiance Dulcie D. Haas; his daughters Deborah (Rick) Buchman, Beverly Dailey, Laurie Hass Gwinn and Lisa Haas Blake. He is also survived by his brother Roger (Sunny) Casto; sister Opal Myers, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his special cat Missy.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother Robert Casto and step-father the Rev. Charles Kendall.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22 from 1 PM until the time of the service at 3 PM at Roberts Funeral Home – East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta 45750.
