James Buford Clark, 87, of Medina, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his residence.
James was born July 8, 1929 in Wise, Virginia to Palmer and Nora {Huff} Clark.
He served in the United States Air Force during WWII as a cook.
He married Betty Hubbard on May 2, 1953.
James worked for J. S. Wellman as a maintenance leader for over 40 years. He was a member of the Brecksville Church of God of Prophecy. He loved golfing, bowling, playing board games, horseshoe and spending time with his family.
The results of James and Betty`s lives evangelistic efforts are seen in the lives of many today. James wit and ease in connecting with people endeared him to friends and family. If he had a life motto it would have been family first… and include as many people as possible into your family!
James will be deeply missed by his wife; children Daryl (Lucy Villanueva) Clark of Cleveland, Helen (Hugh) Morris of Medina, Michelle (Devoran) Atwood of Nashville, TN; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister Jewel Brooks of Kingsport, TN; and nephew Fred (Becky) Hall of Knoxville, TN.
James was preceded in death by his brothers B.A. and Warren Clark, and sister Lema Falin.
Friends may call Wednesday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:30 at the funeral home with Pastor Donald Markam officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where military rites will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to, Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5075 Windfall Rd.
