James Buford Clark, 87, of Medina, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his residence.
James was born July 8, 1929 in Wise, Virginia to Palmer and Nora {Huff} Clark.
He served in the United States Air Force during WWII as a cook.
He married Betty Hubbard on May 2, 1953.
James worked for J. S. Wellman as a maintenance leader for over 40 years. He was a member of the Brecksville Church of God of Prophecy. He loved golfing, bowling, playing board games, horseshoe and spending time with his family.
The results of James and Betty`s lives evangelistic efforts are seen in the lives of many today. James wit and ease in connecting with people endeared him to friends and family. If he had a life motto it would have been family first… and include as many people as possible into your family!
James will be deeply missed by his wife; children Daryl (Lucy Villanueva) Clark of Cleveland, Helen (Hugh) Morris of Medina, Michelle (Devoran) Atwood of Nashville, TN; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister Jewel Brooks of Kingsport, TN; and nephew Fred (Becky) Hall of Knoxville, TN.
James was preceded in death by his brothers B.A. and Warren Clark, and sister Lema Falin.
Friends may call Wednesday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:30 at the funeral home with Pastor Donald Markam officiating.
