James M. Gardner, 56, of Seville, died September 19, 2014 at Medina Hospital.
James was born August 14, 1958 in Wadsworth to Larry James and Mary Ann {Galla} Gardner.
He graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1976. He was in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 1997 from Okinawa, Japan.
He married Denise Poncet on June 15, 1981.
He used to work as a maintenance manager at Akron Canton Airport. He was a member of Mount Zwingli Church in Wadsworth. James loved riding motorcycles with his friends Jeff and Dave and their spouses Janice and Joy.
James will be deeply missed by his wife Denise; children Erin Kelly Gardner, Jonathan Michael Gardner; parents of Panama City, FL; brothers Mark Allen (Stacy) Gardner of Panama City, FL.; sisters Becky Sue (Jack) Davenport, and Peggy Ann (Rich) Brenner, nephews Michael and Matthew, and niece Kaylee.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, in their chapel, where military rites will be held.
