James was a firefighter for 20 years, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant. After retiring, he filled his days as a stay-at-home parent to Julia.
James had a lifelong love of photography and was a wiz with computers. He enjoyed many outdoor activities and sports, including fishing, boating, archery, and scuba diving. More recently, he enjoyed his Fantasy Football Group and listening to podcasts to enrich his mind. But most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends, who will miss him dearly.
Celebrations of life will be held in Texas at a later date.
