James LoParo

James “Jim” LoParo, 69, of Wadsworth, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Seasons Health Care Group, in Stow.

He was born October 23, 1949 in Steubenville to Dominic J. and M. Lorene {Boley} LoParo.

Jim was a 1967 graduate of Wadsworth High School. He attended Cleveland State University while working in graphic arts and successfully ran his own business, LoParo and Company. Jim’s love for art began a lifelong pursuit of creating and promoting his own works. His collections have homes in New York, Orlando, Miami, Cleveland State University, and many locations in Italy. Jim loved to travel and share his art with many exhibitions. He was also a published poet. Jim believed that art is a celebration…everyone is invited…bring the best of yourself.

Jim will be deeply missed by his mother; sisters Rozanne (Tim) Anderson, Barb (Sid) Bennett and Jodi (Kim) Starcher; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Kevin Starcher.
