James Irving McHenry, 72, of Rittman passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at his home. Services will be on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville where military rites will be held. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
James was born on February 2, 1940 in Bronx, NY to Lawrence and Mabel (Ostrander) McHenry. He married Phyllis A. Stone on March 9, 1963. James served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired tow motor operator from Wil-burt. He had been a past member of the Eagles. James enjoyed music, motorcycles, cars, boats, chocolate milkshakes and crossword puzzles.
James will be deeply missed by children Chris (Don) Johnson of West Salem, Susan (Randy) of Doylestown, Denise (Brent) Keener of Rittman, Kathy (Dave) of Ravenna, Krystle (Josh) McDonald of Rittman, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and brother Arthur "Art" (Doris) McHenry of Barberton. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and brothers Larry and Raymond.
