James Collins

James P. Collins, 80, of Wooster, died Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his residence.

Private family graveside services will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with burial to follow. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691.

James was born April 8, 1940 in Parkersburg, W.V. to Nay and Mildred {Fredrick} Collins.

He married Juanita Kennedy. They were happily married for 56 years.

He worked for Regal Ware, and then worked in the aluminum siding business with his brother Charles Collins for several years. James then retired from Kidron Incorporated in 2004. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing, playing the guitar and singing with his family.

James will be deeply missed by his wife; daughters Joyce (Greg) Weber, Janice (Phil) Buzzard and Jennifer Harper; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Denver (Sandra) Collins; sister Ruth Kerrigan.

James was preceded in death by his parents, sons James and William Collins, 5 brothers, 4 sisters.
